I've been trying to embed my Google Wave account into Blogger's, but there is something wrong with the application I was told to use so I'll have to use more of my patience and brain to have it working .
Anyways, I've got news on the place where the wedding is going to take place.
I've told many friends and relatives that we're were holding the ceremony at Espaço Renascença. I even had a deal with the owner and was starting to plan the decoration with my aunt Alminda.
Anyways, about a month ago we went there and the guy told us the price went up and that we'd be having several restrictions to band, catering and decoration. Adriana and I got really frustrated with that whole situation - after all that place was just perfect for us to get married.
Even though he wanted to charge us almost three times the amount we were prepared to pay to rent the place, I was still pretty sure to make it happen there. Adriana, Tia Alminda and Dona Graça (Adriana's mother and my mother-in-law) TALKED me out of that deal and so we started to look for another place. I tell you what... those were some days of anguish to know my plans were not going to happen as planed. Those who know me well will agree that I really get frustrated on such moments. I even started to ask God why in the world he had shown me that place if I couldn't get married there.

A few days later Tia Alminda, the most talented designer, decorator and producer I've met, came to us with a new place she used to produce events in the past. She called the manager, scheduled us a meeting at the mansion and we went there to see if it is was at least close to what the other was. To make long story short, we visited the mansion, fell in love with the place more than in the first one and decided to rent it. Now, be seated for what I'll tell you now. This place was something like 30% cheaper in relation to what we could pay for the other place - before we knew the price had gone up. And this time we had no restrictions to band, decoration and catering services!
God is good! Keep us in your prayers so we may have more blessings at our door... we do need them!
